Rails - 1 3/4"
1 3/4 inch SCL (Strutural Composite Lumber) or wood top and bottom rails are 50% wider than required by industry standards. This provides greater fitting allowances to meet jobsite conditions.
30# density core sanded smooth to provide a flat, stable core for exterior or interior installation.
Stiles - 1 3/8"
Lock and Hinge edges are 1 3/8 inches wide, laminated hardwood  or SCL(Structural Composite Lumber) compatible with face veneer. No finger joints used on exposed edges.
1/16 inch wood or composite wood fiber laminated to the face and core. Laminate plastic faced doors do not require crossbands, but crossbands may be specified.
Wood Veneers are "A" grade
Medium Density Overlay (MDO) may be specified on paint grade doors to eliminate wood grain show-through. This super smooth surface is far superior for painted doors.
Laminate Plastic - .050 thick laminate facing used for standard PC-HPDL-3 construction. Crossbands may be added for PC-HPDL-5 construction. All other components same as wood doors.
Staved Lumber
Low density blocks are glued together with joints staggered in adjacent rows.
